California Certifying Board for Medical Assistants (CCBMA)
-
A California Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA and CACMA) is a medical assistant who meets the qualifications established by the California Certifying Board for Medical Assistants (CCBMA). Entry-level medical assistants must pass a comprehensive, objective examination administered by CCBMA to become certified. Applicants must pass the basic examination and one specialty (either administrative or clinical). Taking a second specialty is optional.​

Dave's Scholar Calendar
This calendar will include all upcoming brunches that you are required to attend. Volunteer and community connection opportunities for students are added regularly. Some Cerro Coso dates and transfer deadlines are also listed, but please consult the Cerro Coso calendar for a comprehensive list of college events.
Check-Ins with MLF Staff
You must participate in scheduled scholarship check-ins/one-on-one discussions with MLF Staff. You can find the current semester sign-up here.
Weekly LRC Check-Ins
In lieu of the required weekly check-in at the Learning Resource Center (LRC), please complete Google Form here. Please utilize the Learning Assistance Center (LAC) for virtual study support. You must complete the Google Form each week.

CSU Associate Degree for Transfer Major & Campus Search
-
If you enroll in an Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) program at a California Community College (CCC), you can transfer to a CSU and graduate with only 120 units. There are two kinds of ADT programs: Associate in Art for Transfer (AA-T) and Associate in Science for Transfer (AS-T). To graduate from the CSU with 120 units, you will need to choose a bachelor’s program that’s similar to the one in which you earned your associate’s degree at community college. Use this search to find a community college that has an AA-T or AS-T program you’re interested in. Start by selecting the major you’re interested in below, then choose the community college(s) near you.

The Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) is an agreement among WICHE’s 16 member states and territories, through which 160+ participating public colleges and universities provide steep nonresident tuition savings for Western students. Through WUE, eligible students can choose from hundreds of undergraduate programs outside their home state, and pay no more than 150 percent of that institution’s resident tuition rate.
